The Tale of Gods and Yokai ebook

Hirotoshi is young and has the world weighing on his shoulders, and Daichirou is homeless trying to get by each day. But what happens when they encounter an unlikely yokai? Will their lives change for good or bad?

In the world of Yamato, humans live alongside beings of strange power: gods, who see to the world, meddling in their own whims, and fickle yokai that can bless or trap even the most wary of humans. Follow Hirotoshi, a boy caught out in a thunderstorm, one which isn't all what it seems. It isn't only lightning which speeds through the sky, threatening to strike. Or how about Daichirou, a greedy man out of luck who decides to trick a trickster. Will the tanuki bring him luck?

These are two short stories from my collection Tales of Yamato, which I hope to publish early 2025.
